**Job Purpose**

To prepare **accurate, clear, and buildable fabrication and assembly drawings** for architectural and structural steel components, ensuring that every detail aligns with approved design intent, manufacturing capabilities, and site requirements.
The Steel Detailer plays a vital role in **translating design concepts into precise shop drawings** that the factory and installation teams can execute efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities1. Drawing Production**
- Develop **detailed fabrication drawings**, **assembly drawings**, and **GA (general arrangement)** layouts for all metalwork elements — including structures, stairs, balustrades, façades, canopies, claddings, etc.
- Produce **cut lists, material take-offs, and bolt/weld schedules** for production.
- Ensure drawings are **dimensionally accurate**, consistent with architectural and structural inputs, and **aligned with manufacturing standards**.
- Maintain **clean and organized drawing files**, with proper layer naming, scaling, and version control.

**2. Coordination**
- Work closely with **Design Engineers**, **Project Engineers**, and **Factory Supervisors** to clarify fabrication requirements.
- Coordinate with **procurement** to confirm material specifications (steel grades, finishes, fasteners, etc.).
- Ensure design intent matches **site conditions and installation feasibility**.
- Respond quickly to comments or revision requests from engineers, clients, or consultants.

**3. Quality & Compliance**
- Adhere to **company drafting standards**, templates, and layer conventions.
- Conduct **self-checks** to minimize drawing errors and rework.
- Ensure compliance with **international steel detailing standards** (AISC, BS, or EN) and **project-specific requirements**.
- Support QA/QC by updating drawing revisions and maintaining documentation traceability.

**4. Productivity & Deadlines**
- Manage drawing outputs according to **submission schedules** and **factory production timelines**.
- Track revisions, approvals, and releases for fabrication using established drawing registers.
- Balance **speed and precision**, ensuring zero compromise on clarity or correctness.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
