**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop detailed **AutoCAD drawings** for fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components.
- Interpret and convert **architectural and structural drawings** into fabrication-level details.
- Coordinate closely with **engineers, project managers, and site teams** to ensure drawings align with design intent and site conditions.
- Prepare **cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication schedules** for shop production.
- Ensure all drawings comply with **company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes** (BS, ASTM, AWS, etc.).
- Revise drawings as required by **site modifications or client comments**.
- Maintain drawing registers, version control, and as-built records.
- Liaise with the **fabrication workshop** to resolve design or dimensional issues.
- Assist in developing **connection details**, welding specifications, and fixing arrangements.
- Support QA/QC teams with drawing verification during inspections and submittals.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering** or a related field.
- Minimum **3-5 years of drafting experience** in metal/steel fabrication or construction environments.
- Proficiency in **AutoCAD (2D/3D)**; knowledge of **Tekla, Revit, or SolidWorks** is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of **metal fabrication techniques, welding symbols, and connection details.**:

- Ability to read and interpret **architectural, civil, and MEP drawings** for coordination.
- Knowledge of **structural steel standards (AISC / BS EN / AWS)**.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Steel and aluminum handrails, balustrades, brackets, catwalks, mezzanines, and support frames.
- Secondary steelworks and architectural metal elements.
- Coordination with fit-out and MEP teams for integrated installations.

**Reporting To**:

- Engineering Manager / Project Engineer

Pay: From AED2,800.00 per month
