**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a team of facade estimators in reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to understand the scope of work for facade projects.
- Oversee the analysis of project documents to identify materials, labor, and equipment needed for facade installations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, project managers, and procurement, to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation and project planning.
- Utilize cost estimation software and tools to calculate material quantities, labor costs, and other project expenses, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
- Prepare and review detailed and itemized cost estimates, including breakdowns of materials, labor, subcontractor bids, and overhead costs, ensuring alignment with project budgets and profit margins.
- Present cost estimates to senior management for review and approval, providing insights and recommendations regarding project pricing strategies and profitability.
- Participate in bid meetings and client negotiations, leading discussions and providing expert guidance on project pricing and cost optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of project estimates, revisions, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the estimation process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new materials to continuously improve estimation accuracy and competitiveness, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
- Collaborate closely with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractor services at competitive prices without compromising quality, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a track record of leadership and team management.
Expertise in facade systems estimation and proficiency in cost estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar programs.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project documents and specifications accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to facade construction in the UAE is a plus.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
