**Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)**

A leading coatings manufacturer based in the UAE, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer to join our dynamic team. As the CTO for Coatings, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and leading the company to new heights in the coatings industry.

**Chief Technology Officer - Coatings Responsibilities**:

- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with the company's business objectives, market trends, and customer needs for coatings products.
- Research and Development: Lead the R&D team in developing cutting-edge coatings technologies, new formulations, and innovative products to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Quality Control: Implement robust quality control processes to ensure that our coatings consistently meet the highest industry standards and customer expectations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and standards pertaining to coatings products.
- Intellectual Property: Identify opportunities for patenting novel technologies and safeguarding the company's intellectual property.
- Collaboration: Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive successful product launches and business growth.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a talented team of technical professionals, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

**Chief Technology Officer - Coatings Requirements**:

- Education: A degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (Ph.D. or MBA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 10 years in the coatings industry with a significant portion in a leadership role within research and development or technology management.
- Innovation: A strong background in developing and commercializing coatings products, preferably with experience in decorative, protective, and industrial coatings.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to formulate and implement a technology strategy that aligns with business goals and drives growth.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative approach to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of coatings industry regulations and standards both within the UAE and globally.
- Business Acumen: A keen understanding of market dynamics and the ability to leverage technology for gaining a competitive advantage.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Multicultural Adaptability: Strong cultural awareness and adaptability to work in a diverse and international environment.
