- Assist chefs and cooks in preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Measure and portion ingredients accurately for recipes and menu items.
- Clean, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as needed.
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers under the supervision of kitchen staff.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients in designated storage areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Dispose of waste and recyclable materials properly and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Perform other kitchen-related tasks and duties as assigned by kitchen management.
**Requirements**:
