About the Role

CNN Business Arabic is recruiting a Studio producer to support the Head of Visual Production to deliver globally leading visual story-telling and news in line with CNNBA’s targets for audience growth on all platforms, keeping in mind CNNBA’s broad Arabic-speaking audience, including business and public affairs decision makers.

Key Accountabilities
- Support CNNBA’s overall goal to produce on average 40 original pieces of content daily by ensuring at least 10 of these are visually told
- stories/news - Support CNNBA’s goal to deliver audience growth (% growth month on month to be set) in line with business KPIs.
- Support the building of CNNBA’s status as a world leading visual storytelling and news platform.
- Coordinate with Head of Visual Production on daily, weekly, monthly shoot schedules
- Coordinate with Head of Visual Production on daily, weekly, monthly edit schedules
- Oversee camera persons/editors and video editors to ensure effective and efficient schedules for shoots including scheduling
- Ensure reporters and presenters are ready and presentable before shooting begins
- Ensuring prompter is updated and functional during shoot
- Produce quality visual content as required in conjunction with reporters: edit scripts for clarity and visual content (including graphics)
- Produce audio content including podcasts in conjunction with reporters; edit scripts for clarity and visual content
- Produce daily material in addition to scheduled weekly segments.
- Visualize shoots, supervise filming of segments/programs and voice-over recordings, both in studio and on location as directed by the Head of Visual Production.
- Maintain correct Arabic-language standards including voice overs and presenting.
- Check scripts for brevity, structure and coherence
- Support editorial teams and visual production department in the creation of programming including new concepts for segments or shows including scripts
- Coordinate and oversee the video editing process including ensuring correct footage, rushes and clips are ready before it starts
- Coordinate with the social media, propose and produce suitable content to support audience growth
- Ensure, together with visual production team, that all equipment and resources are well maintained and used efficiently. Including supporting coordination with IT department on all software requirements.
- Stay up to date on all technological trends and advancements.
- Uphold and respect the social, cultural, and moral standards of life in the UAE as well as the political and strategic national direction. Avoid circumstances in which the brand could be brought into disrepute and respect the custodianship of IMI and its constituents

Qualifications & Experience
- Studio Management. (Audio, Video, Lighting, Edit, Directing, Graphics, Network, video and Audio format)
- DSLR Cameras.
- Remote Guest (Zoom Rooms, Vmix Call)
- NDI workflow & SDI workflow. (nice to have)
- Yamaha and Midas audio mixer with Dante audio interface. (nice to have)
- Wireless Mics and IEM.
- IFB concept & Panasonic PTZ cameras with NDI and FreeD Tracking Data.
- Podcast Recording.
- Lighting Setup concept and roles.
- Working knowledge of lighting consoles, DMX, Lighting Gel, LED and Tungsten lighting fixtures.
- Working knowledge of green chroma Lighting.
- Prompter software.
- Adobe Premiere Knowledge and know How.
- Network Knowledge.
