Summary

As our People and Culture Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our efforts to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment. Your creative energy and people-centric approach will be instrumental in supporting our magic makers throughout their entire employee lifecycle, from the moment they join our KAYALI team to their continued growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the talent attraction process, including job postings and interview scheduling
2. Coordinate a warm and welcoming onboarding experience for new team members, ensuring compliance with freezone employment regulations
3. Complete on time and accurate payroll for global teams
4. Support the administration of employee attendance, leaves, and overall absenteeism records
5. Assist with performance review processes, including PDRs and KPIs, to ensure timely completion and alignment with business goals
6. Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and freezone-specific regulations
7. Assist in overseeing work visa and labor contract applications, renewals, and cancellations, coordinating with PROs and employees
8. Stay informed about UAE labor laws and freezone-specific employment rules, ensuring the organization remains compliant
9. Support employee engagement initiatives and well-being programs to foster a positive work culture
10. Assist in organizing team-building activities and events that bring our KAYALI values to life
11. Help maintain learning and development programs that inspire continuous growth among our team members
12. Prepare and analyze HR metrics such as staff turnover, absenteeism, and headcount reports
13. Assist in creating organizational charts, reports, and employer branding materials

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2. 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to freezone regulations in Dubai
3. Knowledge of UAE labor laws and freezone-specific employment rules
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems
7. Fluency in English
