Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team. The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring robust financial management, and driving the companys growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 16 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally within the manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company s overall business objectives.

• Provide strategic recommendations to the senior management on financial performance and growth opportunities.

• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing insights into financial performance and key business drivers.

• Oversee cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and investment strategies.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial institutions.

• Develop and enforce financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.

• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of finance staff.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.

• Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with operational goals.

• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial analysis and due diligence.

• Assess and manage financial risks associated with new business ventures and strategic projects.
Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA/ CIMA) qualification is required.

• Minimum of 16 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 7 years in a managerial and leadership role.

• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial controls, and risk management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think strategically and execute financial strategies effectively.

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
