Job Overview

  • The candidate will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day Treasury Securitization related activities which are aimed at securing Wholesale Financing at Deem Finance.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be involved in Strategic Treasury Management activities related to Asset Liability Management, Investment Portfolio Management, and Funding Liquidity Management.

Job Description

  • Act as key point of contact for Operational execution of Project Secure which is 1st of its kind specialized Treasury Project to execute a Securitization facility with a Financial Institution.
  • Day-to-day execution of Securitization related IT, Operations, Reporting, and Administrative activities to manage optimal funding levels at the Co in compliance with Senior Lender's Terms & Conditions of the Financing transaction.
  • Closely involved in working with Deem IT architecture, IT vendor, and internal IT team to keep tab of systems issues related to complex securitization on Deem's IT systems.
  • Manage Operational process of mapping, planning, and monitoring of how Deem Treasury manages the Securitization requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis in terms of stringent timelines for cash cycle and reporting metrics.
  • Effectively liaise with internal and external counterparties like Group Finance, Legal Advisors, IT vendor, Financial institutions, Accounting & Audit firm as Securitization transaction requires 360-degree coordination and has significant impact on Deem's Treasury Risk framework.
  • Contribute towards Treasury Management related ad hoc tasks as a Treasury specialist (SME) in ALCO, Central Bank reporting, Audits, Liability Pricing, Portfolio Investments, Strategic Capital management.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications requirements:

  • Experience in Securitization related transactions in a Treasury Operations / Back-office environment with nuts and bolts understanding of operations, accounting, and systems.
  • Few years spent in Treasury back-office of Bulge bracket bank in Developed Markets (DM) will be strongly preferred for someone who is considering to re-locate to Dubai (Middle-east).
  • Fast learning ability and aggressive in pursuing completion of assigned Treasury projects in an intense, focused and specialized Finance, Markets and Investments environment.
  • Team-work in a high quality, skilled, small-team, dynamic Treasury domain.
  • Communication skills to update key management team members about Treasury Securitization and Treasury Management amidst a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, chaotic and ambiguous) environment.
  • Problem solving Operations, IT, Accounting challenges based on prior experience in Securitization &/or Technical know-how of Accounting / IT systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative, Technical or Financial field, Master's degree in Finance or Management preferable but not required; ACCA, CFA or related qualification.
  • 2-5 years experience in Treasury Securitization Back-office Operations of bulge bracket Bank, Treasury mid-office experience in a Financial Institution or stellar academic credentials with penchant towards Analysis, MIS in Corporate Finance, Treasury domain.
