Chat Support Agent – Work From Home Customer Service

Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Chat Support Agent to join our remote customer service team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our clients and customers through live chat, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other digital channels. - Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy, patience, and efficiency. - Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. - Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex customer queries. - Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services when appropriate. - Stay updated on company products, services, policies, and promotions to provide accurate information. - Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate. Required Skills and Qualifications - Excellent written communication skills in English. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. - Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously. - Familiarity with chat support software, CRM systems, or similar tools. - High level of professionalism and customer-oriented mindset. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Experience - Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field. - Previous experience in chat or online support is highly desirable. - Experience in handling high volumes of customer inquiries while maintaining quality service. Working Hours - Flexible remote work schedule with potential shifts based on business needs. - Must be available to work full-time hours (typically 40 hours per week). - Availability for evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required depending on client demands.
