Job Overview:

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the required standards of quality and adhere to industry best practices. This role requires overseeing the implementation of quality control systems managing teams and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The QA/QC Manager will play a key role in monitoring project performance and managing the effective execution of quality assurance protocols throughout all stages of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control team to ensure that all project deliverables meet the specified quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to comply with project specifications industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections audits and evaluations to assess the quality of materials workmanship and project processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to provide guidance on qualityrelated issues.
  • Review and approve vendor qualifications materials and equipment for quality compliance.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all qualityrelated records including nonconformance reports test results and inspections.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor adherence to health safety and environmental standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior QA/QC staff to maintain highquality standards.
  • Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets by identifying potential qualityrelated risks and mitigating them.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
  • 11 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing QA/QC processes for largescale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards regulations and quality management systems (ISO 9001 etc.).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction materials processes and technologies.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in the UAE or Middle East construction markets.
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations.
