About The Role
As Assistant Manager in Facilities you will adhere to facilities maintenance procedures acros various areas, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, kitchen, painting, carpentry, Audio and Visual systems, fire safety systems, recreational water systems, hotel rooms, public areas and exterior features. As part of the role you will follow Conditional Based Maintenance and be involved in building maintenance, environmental and safety regulation compliance, F&B outlets support etc. The successful candidate will focus on using the best practices to improve efficiency, by reducing costs while increasing productivity. Your involvement in both strategic planning and day-today operations, particularly in relation to building and premises will be essential part of the job. In this role you will manage a large team of Team Leaders and Technicians and report to Manager, Facilitties, you will also have budgetary responsibility.
About You
Our ideal candidate will hold Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have strong background in preventive/reactive maintenance in well-known 5* hotel or a large commercial facility. The candidate will have evidence of hands-on engineering experience, while working independently and productively within a team environment. You will need to be a good team player with strong communication and leadership skills. Candidates will be required to demonstrate advanced rectification, analytical skills and ability to effectively influence their direct reports as well as senior stakeholders.
