JOBPURPOSE:
The role holder isprimarily responsible for working with Coverage teams in deliveringCash and Trade solutions and contributing in the management andgrowth of Transaction Banking business across the UAE. The roleholder will be a member of the team covering Cash and Trade salesin theUAE.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
CommercialOversight: Achieving long term results for delivery of workingcapital for Cash and Trade clients.
Contribute inthe identification and development of Cash and Trade businessopportunities and profitability across theUAE
New Business: contributor for Cash and Tradeproduct growth jointly with the coverage teams in UAE. Executecalling plans for each industry segment in conjunction withrelationship managers (as appropriate) to deepen Cash and Tradeproduct penetration across client portfolio.
Useof consultative approach along with the Cash and Trade knowledgeand experience to design and implement suitable innovativesolutions for customers needs. Support the senior team whenstructuring cash management deals and responding toRFPs.
New Markets & Products: Support thesenior members of the team on the structuring of open accountsolutions (SCF & RF) and ensure a highquality customerexperience through consultative approach design and implementingworkable and innovative solutions for customersneeds.
CASA Generation: Manage liquidity andliabilities solutions that drive CASA growth while ensuringbestinclass customer experience.
RegulatoryOversight: Manage proactively the fraud and compliance risks in theCash and Trade business when developing solutions forclients.
Digital Penetration: Facilitateconversion of all existing and new to bank customers on to FABselectronic channels
Pipeline Discipline: Workwith the senior members of the team and Coverage to build andmaintain a strong Cash and Trade pipeline while remaining focusedon pipeline deal mandate closures. This includes regular review andcommunication to the relevantstakeholders.
Partner with coverage teams todevelop quality credit proposals supporting Trade facilities andproactively managing transactional risk in an efficient andprofitable manner. Ensure ancillary business in cash management isringfenced to FAB.
Service Delivery: Collaboratewith other stakeholders to Ensure that customer comes first bydelivering bestinclass service.
Business Liaison:Maintain close liaison with intra region and cross regionalstakeholders to bring about network connectivity to facilitatecross border transactions and opportunities wherepossible.
Support the origination activities toincrease share of wallet with existing relationships by deepselling new Cash and Trade products and support Coverage team togenerate new revenue opportunities from new to bank clients andopportunities.
Work closely with coverage teamsand make the unit head aware of performance gaps in yourportfolio.
Actively engage with client togetherwith the Seniors and with the Unit Head of Cash and Trade Solutions& Advisory UAE and Coverage team to build business for theBank.
Support Seniors in the team for structuringCash & Trade deals and providing technical expertise torelationship managers and facilitate client discussions. Thisincludes structuring Cash and Trade transactions responding to RFPsand providing technical expertise to relationshipmanagers.
Participating in and contributing todeal teams where transactions require bespoke Cash and Tradesolutions.
Establish strong stakeholderrelationships and work with colleagues and partners across thenetwork to build a strong pipeline.
Partner withcoverage teams in contributing to quality credit proposalssupporting structuring of existing and new Tradefacilities.
Proactively managing transactionalrisk in an efficient and profitablemanner.
Identify opportunities for continuousimprovement of products systems processes and practices whileconsidering client needs market developments andtrends.
Actively participate in opportunities toupdate product skills understand market trends and competitorbehaviours.
Work closely with Coverage teamsacross the region and network to propose new markets clients andproducts.
Work with Coverage team on creatingdetailed Key Account Plan for growing trade business and maximizemarket share.
Closely monitoring utilization ofTrade facilities and cross sell noncredit trade products / servicesto deepen client wallet.
Understand and complywith regulations and internal policies i.e. Credit/ Compliance/Operational Risks etc.
Work closely with Cash& Trade Product innovation team in UAE to finalizedocumentation/ structures/ rollout new trade products/solutions.
Qualifications :
MinimumQualification Degree in Finance Accounting EconomicsCommerce or equivalentdiscipline
Minimum Experience 3 years Transactional Banking Experience withspecialized knowledge and experience in Cash Management PaymentsLiquidity Management Core Trade Finance and ValueAdded TradeFinance. Candidate should have a track record in Originationmanaging a portfolio of relationships and meeting specificportfolio KPIs and development of client relationships bothnewtoproduct and newtoBank.
A highly motivatedand experienced salesperson with focus on originating new clientsand driving revenues within a portfolio of corporateclients.
Strong Client network with focus to growCash and Trade business for the bank in theregion.
Knowledge of Cash and Trade Financeproducts including core and valueadded Trade Finance. CashManagement products including Payments and Digital/ElectronicChannels; Collections and Reconciliation tools Account ServicesLiquidity and Liabilities management.
Selfstarterwho can handle all enquiries relating to Cash and Trade Financeindependently.
Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills as well as a teamplayer.
Strong origination capability coupledwith excellent customer orientation & negotiationskills.
Strong communicationskills.
Selfconfident and performance driven.Ability to work under pressure and with a strong deliveryfocus.
Ability to articulate formulate anddeliver high quality clientpresentation.
Understanding of operationsprocesses and procedures and related risk in cash and tradetransactions.
Familiar with the regulatoryenvironment concerning financial industry inUAE.
