The Project Manager isresponsible for overseeing and managing interior fitout projectsfrom initiation to completion. The role involves planningcoordination and ensuring projects are delivered on time withinbudget and according to qualitystandards.

KeyResponsibilities:
ProjectPlanning &Management:
  • Developand execute project plans schedules and budgets for fitoutprojects.
  • Define project scope goalsand deliverables in collaboration with clients andstakeholders.
  • Identify project risksand develop mitigationstrategies.
  • Ensure compliance withlocal regulations permits andapprovals.
&Coordination:
  • Managedaytoday operations of fitout projects including sitesupervision.
  • Coordinate with designprocurement subcontractors andsuppliers.
  • Monitor work progress andresolve technical or logisticalchallenges.
  • Ensure proper resourceallocation including manpower materials andequipment.
Quality& SafetyCompliance:
  • Ensureadherence to quality standards specifications and designrequirements.
  • Implement and enforcehealth and safety regulations at projectsites.
  • Conduct quality inspectionsand ensure timely rectification ofdefects.
Client& StakeholderManagement:
  • Actas the primary point of contact for clients consultants andvendors.
  • Provide project updatesreports and documentation tostakeholders.
  • Address clientconcerns and ensure customersatisfaction.
Budget& CostControl:
  • Monitorproject budgets and control costs to preventoverruns.
  • Manage change ordersvariations and claimsefficiently.
  • Negotiate withsubcontractors and suppliers to optimizecosts.
Documentation&Reporting:
  • Maintainproper documentation including contracts invoices andapprovals.
  • Prepare progress reportsand submit them tomanagement.
  • Ensure project closeoutprocedures including handover and snag listresolution.
Qualifications&Skills:
  • Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering Architecture Interior Design or relatedfield.
  • 7 years of experience infitout project management.
  • Strongknowledge of fitout works materials and constructiontechniques.
  • Proficiency in projectmanagement software (e.g. MS ProjectPrimavera).
  • Excellent leadershipproblemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
  • Strong communication andnegotiation abilities.
  • Ability towork under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
PreferredExperience:
  • Experiencein commercial retail F&B hospitality and office fitoutprojects.
  • Knowledge of localbuilding regulations and authorityapprovals.
  • PMP or PRINCE2certification is aplus.
