We are looking for adetailoriented and organized DocumentControl Assistant (DCC Assistant) tosupport the document control activities for a major Oil &Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The DCC Assistantwill work closely with the Document Control team to ensure propermanagement tracking and distribution of project documentation incompliance with project requirements andstandards.
KeyResponsibilities
- Assistin the receipt tracking and distribution of project documentationto internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensureall documents are filed categorized and maintained accurately inthe Document Control Management System(DCMS).
- Support the implementation of documentcontrol procedures and ensure adherence to establishedstandards.
- Assist in managing version controland ensuring the latest revisions of documents aredistributed.
- Maintain logs of incoming andoutgoing documents and prepare status reports for documentsubmissions.
- Coordinate with project teamscontractors and clients to facilitate timely submission andretrieval of documents.
- Ensure proper archivingand secure storage of all projectdocumentation.
- Address queries and provideassistance to project staff regarding document controlprocesses.
- Support the Lead Document ControlCoordinator in preparing for audits andreviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diplomaor Bachelors degree in Business Administration InformationManagement or a relatedfield.
- Experience:
- 24years of experience in document control preferably within Oil& Gas or pipeline constructionprojects.
- Familiarity with document controlsystems (e.g. Aconex EDMS) ispreferred.
- Skills:
- Strongorganizational and multitaskingabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Excellentattention to detail and accuracy in dataentry.
- Good communication and interpersonalskills for collaborating with teams.
- Ability towork under pressure and manage deadlines in a fastpacedenvironment.
