Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with suppliers for products, goods, packaging, and other necessary materials.
  2. Purchasing & Ordering: Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials and packaging products based on production schedules and inventory levels.
  3. Cost Control: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchases meet food safety and quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
  5. Order Tracking & Expediting: Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues.
  6. Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with the production and operations teams to forecast material needs and prepare purchasing plans accordingly.
  7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions, supplier agreements, and purchase orders. Provide regular reports on inventory status, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  8. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the production, logistics, finance, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with internal requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

Skills:

  1. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  2. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  3. Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
  4. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  5. Analytical skills to monitor and control purchasing budgets effectively.

Key Competencies:

  1. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order management, procurement, and inventory tracking.
