We are seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technicianto join our team in Al Ain United Arab Emirates. As a BIM/CADTechnician you will play a crucial role in creating and managingBuilding Information Models (BIM) and ComputerAided Design (CAD)drawings for various architectural and engineeringprojects.

  • Develop and maintainaccurate BIM models and CAD drawings for architectural andengineering projects
  • Collaborate with projectteams to ensure proper coordination and integration of designelements
  • Create detailed 3D visualizations andrenderings to support projectpresentations
  • Assist in the preparation ofconstruction documentation and technicalspecifications
  • Ensure compliance with buildingcodes regulations and industrystandards
  • Perform quality control checks on BIMmodels and CAD drawings
  • Support theimplementation and maintenance of BIM/CAD standards and bestpractices
  • Participate in project meetings andcontribute to problemsolving discussions
  • Stayupdated on the latest BIM/CAD technologies and industrytrends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Architecture Engineering or a relatedfield
  • 25 years of experience in BIM/CAD in thearchitecture engineering or constructionindustry
  • Proficiency in BIM software such asRevit or ArchiCAD
  • Expertise in CAD softwareparticularly AutoCAD
  • Strong 3D modeling andvisualization skills
  • Indepth knowledge ofconstruction documentation andstandards
  • Familiarity with building codes andregulations in the UAE
  • Excellent problemsolvingabilities and attention to detail
  • Strongorganizational and time managementskills
  • Effective communication skills inEnglish both verbal and written
  • Understandingof architectural and engineeringprinciples
  • Knowledge of constructionmethodologies and practices
  • BIM certification(e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional)preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in afastpaced collaborative environment
  • Willingnessto adapt to new technologies andworkflows
