We are seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician to join our team in Al Ain United Arab Emirates. As a BIM/CAD Technician you will play a crucial role in creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) and ComputerAided Design (CAD) drawings for various architectural and engineering projects.

  • Develop and maintain accurate BIM models and CAD drawings for architectural and engineering projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of design elements
  • Create detailed 3D visualizations and renderings to support project presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documentation and technical specifications
  • Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and industry standards
  • Perform quality control checks on BIM models and CAD drawings
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of BIM/CAD standards and best practices
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problemsolving discussions
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM/CAD technologies and industry trends

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field
  • 25 years of experience in BIM/CAD in the architecture engineering or construction industry
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit or ArchiCAD
  • Expertise in CAD software particularly AutoCAD
  • Strong 3D modeling and visualization skills
  • Indepth knowledge of construction documentation and standards
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the UAE
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills in English both verbal and written
  • Understanding of architectural and engineering principles
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and practices
  • BIM certification (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced collaborative environment
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and workflows
