CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

Review Tender & IFC information model issued by consultants (2D drawings, BIM models & asset data) as per ISO19650

Ensures that the BIM coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets, workflows and the project set-up are in line with the project requirements.

Understands EIR, and supports implementing approved BIM protocols and BEP in the project.

Ensures that the technical management of BIM data sets are in line with project standards as per Digital construction department guidelines.

Ability to analyze facts and data, using sound judgment, to arrive at effective solutions.

Leads the project coordination meetings, as per the agreed schedules.

BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project /workflows and project set-up. Lead, Supervise, Coordinate and support all BIM modellers in the project.

Technical management of project BIM data sets.

Ensures BIM coordination and collaboration with the other team members and departments, as per the project requirements.

Ensure BIM QA/QC & maintain healthy models. Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit.

Support the Design Coordinator and Manager by providing information for site queries

High learning skills and adaptability to BIM software platforms.

Managing interferences between BIM models of different disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP, etc.).

Facilitate 3D spatial coordination.

Responsible for the BIM part of technical coordination.

Participate in technical coordination meetings.

Solve discrepancies and supporting the technical team

BIM Coordination and Collaboration Process Management.

Effective checklist compliance. Consistent Quality in drawings. Ability to provide the right information at the right time.

Work with subcontractors to integrate submittals, manufacturer’s data and as-built information into the BIM model.

Demonstrates Building Information Modelling skills in a required software, as per the requirement.

Ensure construction document accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling.

Support & ensure as built/redline/handing over process. Arrange the information for as-built drawings and ensure updated as-built details are accurate. Support the digital construction team on the BIM handover process if necessary.

Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil

At least 5-6 years experience in Construction projects using BIM.

3 Years Experience in BIM Coordinator role with Main Contractor/Subcontractor in GCC countries.

Expert knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and CAD.

BIM fundamentals, principles & workflows -Advanced level.

Advanced knowledge of Collaborative shared environment.

Very good written & spoken English.

Knowledge of MS Office & Adobe Acrobat

Well aware of developments in Digital construction.

Knowledge of BIM Standards & Specifications

Preferable

Civil 3D/ Tekla

Autodesk Construction Cloud

ACP Certification

ISO/BIS BIM certifications.

Postgraduate Diploma in BIM

or Digital Built environment.

Ability to work well in a teamwork

Ability to take a proactive approach to work

Excellent organizational and technical skills

Experience of acting as a mentor and coach to their team.
