Job Description

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and serving beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
  2. Being fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
  3. Upselling with each customer interaction.
  4. Providing high standards of quality and efficient, friendly service.
  5. Preparing mise-en-place and performing side duties.
  6. Collecting all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions.
  7. Adhering to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and checking beverage stock.
  8. Understanding and knowing all beverage items and preparing garnishes for each cocktail accordingly.
  9. Keeping the bar counter and surrounding area clean and organized at all times.
  10. Monitoring operating supplies to reduce spoilage and wastage.
  11. Handling guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  12. Establishing rapport with guests and maintaining good customer relationships.
  13. Performing cashiering functions and ensuring adherence to outlet cashiering procedures.
  14. Ensuring proper presentation and display of premium liquors on shelves, following defined quantities.
  15. Having ready garnishes for all cocktails upon opening of the bar.
  16. Coaching and training new recruits through on-the-job training.
  17. Assisting in the training of employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.
  18. Assisting in carrying out monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment.
  19. Being flexible and adapting to rotate within different subsections of the Food and Beverage Department.
  20. Carring out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor, Assistant, and Manager.
