JobAccountabililities

Manage theentire service centre workforce and guide them to provide serviceas per the quality standards.

Improves thequality of customer service in the workshop & maintainseffective control of expenses in line with the budgetobjectives.

Coordinates with principal ontechnical problems, service issues & also with the servicemanager to obtain warranty approvals .

Evaluatethe technician's performance on a periodic basis andprovide coaching if necessary

Prepares the annualTraining Plan and ensures itsimplementation.

Ensures the maintenance andcalibration of equipment, special tools & promotes ways ofworking safely in the Service Center with regular review of safetyequipment.

Provide support to business excellencedepartment for Internal/External audits.

Submitmonthly report on the Service Centre activities to the managementteam.

Qualification andEducation

Preferably anEngineering Degree in Automotive/Mechanical orequivalent

Experience

Minimum10 years of experience with workshops & governmententities, dealing with commercial heavy vehicles and electricalvehicles, with 5 years at manageriallevel.

Experience in handling 100+ serviceworkforce for more than 5 years.

Knowledge &Skills

Fluent in English; workingknowledge of Hindi/Urdu; Arabic anadvantage.

Candidates with UAE Driving licensepreferred

  • ResourceAllocation : Ensuring that materials, tools, andequipment are available for the team to carry out their taskseffectively.
  • Prioritization :Ability to prioritize urgent tasks and manage multiple projectssimultaneously without compromising onquality.

  • SafetyStandards : Ensuring that all safety protocols andstandards are followed to maintain a safe workingenvironment.
  • RiskManagement : Identifying and mitigating potentialrisks in the workshop, including accidents orhazards.
  • Compliance :Knowledge of industry regulations and ensuring that the workshopcomplies with all legal requirements and safetyregulations.

5.Budgeting and CostControl

  • FinancialManagement : Overseeing the workshop'sbudget, managing costs related to materials, labor, and equipmentmaintenance.
  • CostOptimization : Identifying opportunities to reducecosts without compromising on quality orsafety.
  • InventoryManagement : Managing inventory and ensuringefficient use of resources to avoid waste anddelays.

6.CommunicationSkills

  • ClearCommunication : Communicating effectively with theteam, management, and customers (if applicable) to ensureexpectations are clear and projects are completedsuccessfully.
  • Reporting :Providing regular reports on workshop performance, safety issues,and project status to seniormanagement.
  • CustomerService : If the workshop deals with externalclients, providing excellent customer service and maintainingstrong relationships with clients.
