Key Duties AndResponsibilities

  • To report for duty punctually wearingthe correct uniform and name badge, following good hygiene habitsat all times, and holding impeccable personal grooming as per TheBab Al Shams Hotel Standards.
  • Performprofessional services according to standards with attention todetail and in a prompt timely manner.
  • Performsall types of Spa & Wellness treatments available in theSpa.
  • Welcomes the guests/clients to the SPA andengages them in conversation to determine the services that theyneed.
  • Advise guests of spa service programs,treatments, and products available at thespa.
  • Assist in promoting spa & bodycare products to guests and offer full productknowledge.
  • Provides guests/clients withknowledge of different types of available massages and suggestsappropriate massage therapies for individualneeds
  • Ensure all treatment rooms are fully setup before beginning treatment according to standards andprocedures.
  • Update any guest-related matters,products or equipment needs, and technical service requests throughappropriate guest information.
  • Assist inkeeping accurate written records of treatments and products used inview of repeat guests.
  • Achievescustomers' expectations and financial performance targetsof the department
  • Maintains client'srecords including demographic information, medical histories, andappointments
  • Upholds the standards of hygieneand sterilization as directed by law and the spa'spolicies and procedures
  • Participates in ongoingtraining, with assistance from your designated trainee, andcontinues to study to improve skills.
  • Attendsinternal spa meetings.
  • Reports to supervisorunusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons, missing ordamaged hotel property, and lost and founditems.
  • Participates in the multi-skillsphilosophy of the department.
  • Responds to anychanges in spa function as indicated by thecompany.
  • Communicates effectively and respondswell, to questions and requests.

Experience &Educational Requirements

  • Certificate holder or equivalentqualification
  • 2 years in a similar position ina five-star hotel.
  • Physically fit for theposition.
  • Knowledge in micros Microsoft OfficeWord/excel/PowerPoint.
