Roles and responsibilities

  • PayrollProcessing :

    • AutomatedPayroll Runs : Oracle HCM Payroll allows businessesto automate payroll processing by configuring payroll runs based onpredefined cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly,etc.).
    • Employee DataIntegration : Seamless integration with employeeinformation from Oracle Core HR and other modules to ensure thatpayroll is based on the most up-to-date employee data (e.g.,salary, benefits, deductions,etc.).
    • PayrollCalculations : Supports complex payroll calculations,including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions. It can handlevarying pay structures and rules (e.g., salary vs. hourly,different pay scales).
    • CostDistribution : Distributes payroll costs accuratelyacross departments, projects, or business units based on predefinedrules, helping track labor costs for financialreporting.

  • TaxCalculation andCompliance :

    • TaxUpdates : Oracle HCM Payroll is updated regularly toreflect changes in tax laws, ensuring compliance with regional,state, or national tax regulations. It can calculate various taxes,such as federal, state, local income taxes, social security, andother payroll-relateddeductions.
    • Multi-CountrySupport : It supports payroll operations in multiplecountries and handles compliance with local tax laws, laborregulations, and statutory benefitsrequirements.
    • Withholding andReporting : Automatically calculates taxwithholdings, and generates required tax filings (e.g., W-2 formsin the U.S. or P60 forms in theUK).

  • PayrollIntegration :

Desired candidate profile
  • Proven experience withOracle HCM Payroll module (minimum 5years).
  • Expertise in the complete payrolllifecycle, from setup to processing andreporting.
  • Proficiency in creating and managingpayroll definitions, costing, and datavalidation.
  • Experience with payroll reporting(e.g., payslips, year-end processing).
  • Abilityto analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies orissues.
  • Experience with FastFormulas
  • Experience in payroll testing (e.g.,payroll runs, validations, errorresolutions).
  • Ability to communicate complexpayroll processes and requirements to both technical teams andbusiness stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solvingand analytical skills.
  • Experience in gatheringand translating business requirements into functionalspecifications.
  • Strong documentation andreporting skills.
  • Experience with Oracle HCMPayroll implementation, upgrade, or supportprojects.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation inUAE or GCC
  • Flexible and adaptable to changingrequirements and environments.
