abrdn covers itsMiddle East & African clients from its regional office inAbu Dhabi which is where this role isbased.

About therole

As the Directorof Business Development you will get the opportunity to beresponsible for maintaining and expanding abrdns presence in theMiddle East & Africa region. This includes strengtheningexisting client relationships developing new opportunities anddriving strategic initiatives to achievegrowth.

Within this role youwill be building and managing a number of abrdns clientrelationships in Kuwait and across the Middle East & Africaregion.

KeyResponsibilities

BusinessDevelopment

  • Develop a deepunderstanding of abrdns investment products to effectively engage adiverse client base and showcase abrdns investmentcapabilities.

  • Identifygrowth opportunities and drive initiatives that align with regionaland organizationalgoals

ClientRelationship Management

  • Serveas a trusted advisor matching client investment needs with tailoredpropositions and productofferings.

  • Develop long termpartnerships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and enhanceretention

  • Oversee themanagement of relationships with key clients to support businessgrowth and achieve targetedoutcomes.

StrategicPlanning

  • Develop andimplement strategies to secure new growthopportunities.

  • Preparespecific business plans for Kuwait and proposals aimed atmaximizinggrowth.

  • Experience ofdeveloping and implementing strategies to secure new growthopportunities

  • Experience ofdeveloping long term partnerships with clients to ensure clientsatisfaction and enhanceretention

  • Ability to provideaccurate and actionable management reporting for internalstakeholders
