Business Development Director

We require a Senior Director Origination with extensive experience in origination and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team.

  • Originate new business opportunities in India and the GCC region.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders in India and the GCC region.
  • Coordinate due diligence and ensure smooth execution of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Negotiate terms with prospective clients in collaboration with the investment management team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years experience at a top-tier financial institution: debt/credit provider, venture capital, private equity with a focus on Tech.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing role: sales, origination, relationship management.
  • Demonstrable ability to originate and close transactions.
  • Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst – Must Have.
  • Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape.
  • Proven track record in closing debt/equity investments.
