Your new role,what'sinvolved?

Material Inspectionand Testing:

  • Conduct inspections of constructionmaterials, including concrete, steel, asphalt, and aggregates, toensure compliance with project specifications andstandards.
  • Perform field and laboratory testson construction materials to verify their quality andproperties.
  • Document and report test resultsaccurately, and maintain detailed records of material inspectionsand tests.

Quality Assurance andControl:

  • Monitor the quality and consistencyof construction materials delivered to projectsites.
  • Identify any defects or non-conformitiesin materials and coordinate with suppliers and contractors toaddress them.
  • Ensure that materials meetrequired standards and specifications before they are incorporatedinto construction works.

We'd loveto hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering, Materials Science, or a relatedfield.
  • A minimum of 7 years of recentexperience as a Material Inspector with construction consultants onutilities projects in Abu Dhabi.
  • Strongknowledge of construction materials, testing methods, andstandards.
  • Experience with field and laboratorytesting of construction materials.
  • Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, with attention todetail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withmultidisciplinary teams andstakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications inmaterial testing (e.g., ACI, ASTM) are highlydesirable.
