Our ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Storekeeper Assistant who can efficiently manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling records of supply transactions and verifying that supplies received are accurately reflected on requisitions and invoices.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Recording deliveries and departmental issues in stock ledgers and maintaining a balanced inventory daily.
  • Verifying goods received against delivery notes from suppliers.
  • Receiving and unloading goods from suppliers.
  • Ensuring timely dispatch of goods to the intended store and maintaining a secure environment on the loading bay.
  • Distributing goods to Engineering Department employees based on stores requests.
  • Performing weekly requisitioning of materials to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Maintaining accurate records of materials in and out of stores via computer entry.
  • Coordinating stocktaking activities as scheduled by hotel management.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of stores at all times.
