Description Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons in the French language to suit the individual needs of all students. Create a teaching environment that stimulates the learning of French in the classroom. Attend staff briefing and contribute when needed. Inspire mixed‑culture and ability classes by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students. Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve. Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge. Communicate accurately and regularly with parents. Liaise with the Head of Early Years and PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum to specified classes, including selecting resources and managing them efficiently in the classroom. Contribute to the extra‑curricular activities programme and participate in school activities such as assemblies, evening events and conferences. Maintain constant awareness of the needs of any children to whom French is another language. Attend department meetings. Help with after‑school clubs and activities. Minimum Application Requirements Qualification: Minimum M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification. Experience: 2 years. Type of Staff: Male or Female can apply. Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa). Must be a native speaker of English. Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered. Prefer candidates with international experience. Open University qualification(s) are NOT accepted. Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted. Must be a native speaker of French, with excellent command of English. Having a Master's is beneficial. Experience of teaching in the Middle East is beneficial.
