Job Description
  • Oversee the entire HVAC project lifecycle, from initial design through installation and commissioning, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to select optimal equipment and materials that align with project specifications and client needs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with HVAC codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, maintaining accurate records for accountability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between management, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to ensure all project aspects are aligned.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and adjusting timelines as necessary to mitigate delays.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring all personnel are trained on best practices.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project by implementing effective problem-solving strategies and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations and updates to clients and senior management, showcasing progress and addressing concerns.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is essential for technical expertise.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in commercial HVAC systems and familiarity with energy-efficient technologies can set candidates apart.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, especially for multinational projects.
  • Strong technical skills in HVAC design software and project management tools are necessary for efficient workflow management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with clients and team members.
  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
  • A proactive approach to project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently, is essential.
