Roles and responsibilities
  • Provide (remote) technicalsupport, installations and services to employees who work acrossthe globe.
  • Document all technical issues andtroubleshooting processes.
  • Escalate complexcases professionally, ensuring proactive follow-up untilresolution.
  • Collaborate with clients tounderstand their needs, analyze issues, and research and implementthe best solutions.
  • Stay updated on productupdates, system changes, and technical support procedures toprovide accurate information toclients.
  • Cooperate with our software suppliersto receive their help when needed to fix issues or execute updatesto the software.
  • License management: updatelicenses in our FlexLM central license servers.

Your qualities

You can make your mark asTechnical Application Support Engineer - Autodesk if youhave:

  • Minimum of 3 yearsof experience in technical customer service or technical support onservers and software products.
  • Experience withdesign and engineering software solutions, as well as deployingsoftware updates across a network usingPowerShell.
  • Strong listening skills with theability to accurately understand and address clientinquiries.
  • Ability to work independently andcollaboratively within a team and acrossdepartments.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills in English, capable of conveying technicalconcepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Provenknowledge of Entra ID.
  • Experience with ITIL andITSM tooling (like TOPdesk or ServiceNow) and working with softwarelicenses and license servers.

1. CoreResponsibilities

  • IncidentManagement :

    • Respond toand resolve application-related incidents within agreed SLAs(Service Level Agreements).
    • Perform root causeanalysis for recurring issues to prevent futureincidents.
    • Escalate complex issues to thedevelopment team or vendor support whennecessary.

  • ApplicationMaintenance :

    • Monitorapplication performance, logs, and system health using tools likeSplunk ,Dynatrace , or NewRelic .
    • Perform routinemaintenance tasks such as database backups, log file management,and application patching.
    • Ensure highavailability and reliability of criticalapplications.

  • UserSupport :

    • Assistend-users with application-related queries and provide training ordocumentation when needed.
    • Gather and documentuser feedback to suggest improvements or enhancements toapplications.

  • DeploymentandUpgrades :

    • Coordinateand participate in application deployment and versionupgrades.
    • Test applications and configurationsin staging or QA environments before productionrollouts.
    • Document and implement rollbackprocedures to ensure minimal downtime duringupdates.

  • IntegrationandConfiguration :

    • Manageand support integrations between applications and third-partysystems via APIs, middleware, or directinterfaces.
    • Configure applications to alignwith business needs, such as setting up workflows, permissions, orreports.
