Dreamplace is an experiential and play-based learning center for 6-13 y.o. children where freedom of choice is at the heart of our philosophy. We design interdisciplinary activities and projects to inspire children's discovery of the world, spark their imagination, and explore their own interests. We strive for a truly child-led atmosphere where kids are the creators of their own spacetime.
You have to love spending time with kids, provide them with assistance in their exploring and understanding of the world, suggest relevant activities, create long-term and short-term projects, actively participate in designing our own play-based activities, conduct experiments, while ensuring safety for the kids and a friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications
- The leader needs to have a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy, Psychology, teacher training, arts and/or science teaching, preferably multi-skilled.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children of the given age.
- Has to be outgoing, inspiring, energetic, creative, and an open person ready to explore and create projects with kids.
- S/he can be a teacher of music/dance/painting/chess/coding/science in the past.
- S/he has to quickly adapt to a child-led non-directive environment and communication.
- Passionate about innovation in education; experiential, project-based, and play-based learning.
- Be able to independently work and create activity/project planning.
