Based in Dubai and due to a vast opening programme across the MENA region, my client is looking to add a critical senior PR Manager into the dept to work across all the key brands from a corporate perspective. My client is a global leader in Hospitality.

Reporting to the Senior Director-Corporate Communications, you will be accountable for the following areas:

  1. Promoting, enhancing and protecting the public image and reputation of my client's core brands and business worldwide, through professional content generation.
  2. Researching, collating, writing and publishing high quality brand-relevant content.
  3. Being able to proofread and quality check all content that is primed for internal or external publication, including stories generated through company initiatives, Internal Communications announcements, publications and initiatives, CSR and colleague activities, video and audio recording, etc.
  4. Assessing the suitability of texts and proposed communication for its intended readership.
  5. Communicating, supporting and working closely with each member of the Sales & Marketing department and the regional and Strategic Business Unit Sales and Marketing teams and striving towards common goals; supporting the development and editing of material for these departments.
  6. Maintaining and building good contacts with the sales, marketing, regional offices and public relations consultancies of the company.
  7. Acting as a key contact within the Sales & Marketing department for all colleagues.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Degree educated, preferably in a PR/Communications field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a PR, Brand and Communications role.
  3. Travel industry experience such as Hotels, Leisure, Entertainment and airlines in a corporate or regional capacity preferred.
  4. Track record in strong writing, presentation and communications skills in English; Arabic and additional languages a plus.
  5. Able to work independently and as part of a team locally and regionally as the company requires.
  6. Strong personality and experience in dealing with a number of agencies and existing media contacts.
  7. Able to travel across the MEA region.
  8. Current GCC experience is a must.
  9. Self-starter and can work smart when pressure is on.
