Aboutthe Role:

We are lookingfor an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader with a background in retail to join a dynamicteam in a leading retail Company in Al Ain. The TeamLeader will directly report to the StoreManager and be responsible for leading and supporting ateam of store associates to ensure the smooth and efficientoperation of the store. The ideal candidate will have strongleadership skills a customerfocused approach and the ability tomotivate a team to achieve storegoals.

KeyResponsibilities:

1.Team Leadership andSupport:

  • Leadmotivate and develop a team of store associates ensuring a highstandard of customer service and storeperformance.
  • Delegate tasks andresponsibilities to team members based on individual strengths andskills.
  • Assist the Store Managerwith training new staff and ensuring the team is up to date withstore policies andprocedures.
  • Conduct daily teambriefings to ensure clear communication and a focus on dailyobjectives.

2.Store OperationsManagement:

  • Ensurethe store is clean organized and fully stocked at alltimes.
  • Oversee inventory controlensuring stock levels are maintained products are wellorganized andshelves are replenished in a timelymanner.
  • Monitor store performance tomeet sales targets productivity goals and operationalefficiency.
  • Ensure adherence tohealth and safety regulations and storepolicies.

3.Customer ServiceExcellence:

  • Ensureexceptional customer service is provided by leading by example andsupporting team members in addressing customer queries andcomplaints.
  • Train and coach staff oncustomer service techniques and productknowledge.
  • Resolve customercomplaints or issues promptly and professionally maintainingcustomersatisfaction.

4.Sales and PerformanceMonitoring:

  • Monitorthe store s sales performance and assist the Store Manager indeveloping and executing salesstrategies.
  • Support the team inachieving individual and storewide salestargets.
  • Analyze sales data andcustomer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement andgrowth.

5. StaffScheduling and ShiftManagement:

  • Assistin scheduling staff shifts and ensuring that appropriate staffinglevels are maintained especially during peakhours.
  • Coordinate break times andmanage any changes to staff schedules in realtime.
  • Ensure team members arepunctual and meet attendanceexpectations.

6.Health Safety andCompliance:

  • Assistin ensuring the store complies with all relevant health safety andenvironmental regulations.
  • Conductregular audits to ensure store cleanliness and safety standards aremaintained.
  • Follow and enforcecompany policies and procedures ensuring compliance with UAE retailregulations.

7.Reporting andFeedback:

  • Reportdirectly to the Store Manager on teamperformance operational issues and salestargets.
  • Provide feedback andsuggestions for improvements in store operations customer serviceand staff performance.
  • Document andreport on any incidents stock discrepancies or employee issues inaccordance with companyprocedures.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum23 years of experience in aretail environment with at least 1year in a supervisory or leadershiprole .
  • Experience inmanaging teams and achieving sales goals in a fastpaced retailenvironment.
  • Familiarity withsupermarket operations and a strong understanding of retailprocesses.

Skills:

  • Excellentleadership and teammanagement skills with the ability to inspire andmotivate staff.
  • Strongcommunication and customerservice skills.
  • Ability tomanage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities in afastpacedenvironment.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and handle customercomplaints effectively.
  • A goodunderstanding of retail operations includinginventory management and salestargets.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent. A degree in RetailManagement or a related field is aplus.
  • Basic proficiency inMS Office and experience with retail managementsoftware ispreferred.
