Job Description

The Role

  • Under the guidance and supervision of the Front Office Manager and/or the Night Manager, provide efficient, personalized, courteous and punctual service while practicing up-selling techniques. Work with a team spirit to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarize with all Accor corporate and local Standards and ensure adherence. Supervise front desk operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Deliverables And Responsibilities

Planning & Organizing:
  • Review and update Logbook
  • Check equipment
  • Maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times
  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Report regularly to Supervisors/Night Manager
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching
  • Understand and implement fire and first aid procedures
  • Handle guest complaints and report to manager
  • Implement and coordinate the Accor Standards
  • Attend training classes as per schedule
  • Ensure awareness of daily activities and hotel facilities
  • Print panic report at least twice during the shift
Operations
  • Prepare for daily arrivals in terms of room allocation and special requests.
  • Register and process check-ins for all arrivals.
  • Update guest information in the computer after check-in.
  • Accountable for cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, and night audit tasks.
  • Provide friendly and prompt service to guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints and liaise with concerned departments.
  • Handle issuance of guest room key cards.
  • Assist at the Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business Centre.
  • Review log book, verify outstanding tasks, and identify special assignments for the day.
  • File daily reception report systematically.
  • Attend briefings and communicate necessary information to the next shift.
  • Maintain perfect grooming at all times.
  • Drive upselling efforts.
  • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested.
Generic Aspects On Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment / Confidentiality
  • Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture.
  • Be familiar with hotel policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure safety regulations are applied.
  • Respect the hotel's commitments to sustainability.
  • Adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Heartists Handbook.
  • Safeguard confidential records and information.

Hotel Management Graduate

Additional Information

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Experience with Front Desk Operations.
