We are seeking an experienced HSE professional to join our team as an HSE Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents.

Job Description

As an HSE Engineer with Wtsenergy, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific HSE procedures/work instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting thorough audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigating incidents promptly and thoroughly to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Providing training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW to ensure all personnel are informed and aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
  • Minimum one of the following: NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group), Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)
  • Lead auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent, Incident Investigation techniques
  • Strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business
  • Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers, etc.
