About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Project Officer to join our team at Kenyon Block Consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies related to environmental protection, including air quality management and local pollution prevention.
  • Collaborate with DEFRA and other stakeholders to achieve partnership working goals.
  • Lead on engagement with local communities and other stakeholders to build productive working relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in an Environmental Sciences related subject or equivalent.
  • Recognised management qualification (ILM or similar).
  • At least two years of experience working in the relevant discipline.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategy development and implementation, with experience working in strategic and proactive environmental protection. They will also possess excellent working knowledge of legislation, statutory guidance, and technical literature relevant to the services provided by the department/service.
