This strategic role will be instrumental in driving the financial growth and sustainability of the company through effective capital management and strategic acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Debt Financing: Lead and manage all aspects of debt financing, including the structuring, negotiation, and execution of debt instruments. Ensure optimal capital structure to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Oversee and execute M&A activities, from identification of potential targets to due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration. Collaborate closely with senior management and external advisors to ensure successful transactions.
  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team based on thorough financial analysis.
  • Capital Markets: Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Lead fundraising efforts to secure the necessary capital for ongoing and future projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with debt financing and M&A activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure continuous development and upskilling of the team to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on debt financing, M&A, and capital markets, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex financial transactions and M&A deals.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing investor relations and working with senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
