Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Logistics Operations team at Talabat. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations, managing a team of patrollers, and overseeing the implementation of operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Operations Management: Develop and manage patrollers' rosters based on city requirements and special events, ensuring adherence to performance standards and operational protocols.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze performance data to manage and enhance patroller performance, creating comprehensive reports to identify areas of concern and showcase findings to the City Manager.
  • Compliance and Training: Ensure patroller compliance with uniforms, data handling, tasks, and environmental health and safety regulations, conducting spot checks and creating SOPs for various patroller procedures. Design and deliver training programs to upskill patrollers, ensuring they meet and exceed job requirements.
  • Team Management: Serve as the primary contact between patrollers and various internal teams, overseeing the documentation of legal fines, vehicle compliance, and the tracking of all legal document expirations. Prepare patroller invoices and purchase orders for financial processing.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree with experience in logistics, operations, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Skills: Strong leadership and conflict management skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage complex logistical operations.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role managing a logistical or driver team. Previous experience in compliance, training, and performance management is preferred.
  • Language: English (Must)
  • Additional Requirements: Flexibility in work hours and availability for travel. A driving license is preferred.
