About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Al-Futtaim. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring operational effectiveness, and maintaining store compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
  • Operational Effectiveness
    • Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing duties, and other security aspects.
    • Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations and be responsible for corrective action at the POS.
    • Supervise the receiving and display of goods, ensuring products are available for customer purchase.
    • Assist with events such as stock take, new store openings, and other operational requirements.
  • Store Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing, protecting the company against loss related to incorrect pricing.
  • People Development
    • Assist with training and ensure Sales Assistants apply Brand Merchandising Principles at all times, maintaining a corporate image and ensuring the brand has the best possible-looking stores.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a leading or supervising role.
  • Skills
    • Good verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
    • Strong customer service skills.
