Manpower Professional is a leading global healthcare organization seeking a skilled HR Generalist to support their HR function in Dubai.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing administrative and coordination work, supporting the HR function to ensure seamless operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining data in the HR and Payroll system for regional offices, involved in the recruitment process, ensuring smooth on-boarding and off-boarding processes, and acting as the main contact person for Government Authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management: Responsible for updating and maintaining data in the HR and Payroll system for regional offices.
  2. Recruitment Process: Involved in the recruitment process.
  3. On-Boarding Process: Ensure smooth on-boarding process including regular follow up with selected candidates, visa application, ticket and hotel booking.
  4. Off-Boarding Process: Ensure off-boarding process is followed including exit interviews, reasons for employees' departure.
  5. Government Contact: Act as the main contact person for the Government Authorities; develop and maintain effective business contacts.
  6. Employee Advice: Provide HR related advice to employees in regards to new rules and regulations.
  7. Leave Administration: Ensure leaves are updated, proper documentation is received, leave balance policy is followed.
  8. Medical Insurance Management: Responsible for managing the medical insurance.
  9. Transfer Policy: Ensure intra transfer policy is followed.
  10. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support.
  11. Training Arrangement: Responsible for arranging induction trainings.
  12. Document Preparation: Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, HR letters and certificates.
  13. Employee File Maintenance: Create and maintain accurate employee files.
  14. Compliance Tracking: Keep track of due dates in regards to end of expat contract, rent renewal, end of probation.
  15. Process Enhancement: Suggest and provide feedback on process improvement.
  16. Regional Oversight: Assist Head of HR Services in monitoring regional activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and attributes:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma / Bachelor degree preferably in Human Resources.
  • Professional Experience: Should have at least 2 years' experience in HR functions.
  • Communication Expertise: Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical Thinking: Analytical thinking and high organizational skills.
  • Labor Law Awareness: Good knowledge of the UAE labor law.
  • Technical Proficiency: IT tools utilization.
  • Problem Resolution: Problem solving skills.
  • Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
  • Stress Management: Ability to work under pressure.
  • Documentation Precision: Accuracy in documentation and flexibility are a must.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and yet as a team player.
  • Documentation Excellence: Outstanding documentation skills.
