Job Description:

Role Overview:

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement and contracts department, you will be responsible for managing and executing contracts for our oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement contracts and procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  2. Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  5. Provide expert advice on contracts and procurement matters.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Law, Engineering, or Economics.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas projects.
  3. Minimum 10 years of experience in contracts and procurement.
  4. High fluency in written and spoken English, particularly for contract terminology.
  5. High degree of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  6. Previous knowledge of SAP MM and SRM modules is highly preferred.
  7. Previous experience in high complexity projects.
  8. Knowledgeable and familiar with international contractual formats and complex corporate and project governance.
  9. High negotiation skills and ability to understand what is negotiable in line with company targets.
  10. Ability to be a team player and frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties.
  11. CIPS type qualification is highly preferred.
  12. Fair knowledge in written and spoken Arabic is considered a plus.
