Job Description:

We are seeking a skilledand experienced Procurement Specialist to manage our contracting and procurement operations in the UAE.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in thecontracting MEP and construction industries with at least 5 yearsof relevant experience. A degree in Mechanical Engineering ispreferred but candidates with significant experience in procurementwithin the relevant fields will also beconsidered.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management: Identify evaluate and establish relationshipswith suppliers and vendors to ensure the procurement of highqualitymaterials and services at competitiveprices.

Contract Negotiation:Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers tosecure favorable terms pricing and deliveryschedules.

Purchase Orders:Prepare and process purchase orders ensuring accuracy andcompliance with company policies andprocedures.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels conduct regularaudits and coordinate with project managers to forecast procurementneeds.

Cost Control: Implementcostsaving strategies and measures to optimize procurement budgetsand reduce expenses.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials and servicesmeet project specifications and qualitystandards.

Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities includingpurchase orders contracts and supplier performanceevaluations.

Compliance:Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations standards and companypolicies related to procurement and supply chainmanagement.

Collaboration:Work closely with project managers engineers and other stakeholdersto understand project requirements andtimelines.

Qualifications

Experience:Minimum of 35 years of procurement experience in the contractingMEP and construction industries within theUAE.

Education: Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Candidates withsignificant relevant experience will also beconsidered.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Proficiency in procurement software and tools

Excellent organizational and time managementabilities

Ability to work under pressure andmeet tightdeadlines

Knowledge: Indepthunderstanding of supply chain management procurement processes andindustryspecific regulations.
