Job Description

Careers International is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager - Facade Systems Specialist to oversee the manufacturing and installation processes of building facades. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in facade systems and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and manage production schedules to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality facade systems.
    • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure design specifications are met and that all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
  • Resource Allocation and Management
    • Allocate resources such as labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed to maintain a smooth production process.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that all facade systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections and supervise testing processes to ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and supervise production teams, providing training and support as needed to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
    • Foster a safe and productive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Cost Management and Budgeting
    • Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures to minimize expenses and maximize profitability.
    • Prepare and manage budgets for production activities to ensure that all expenses are accounted for and that financial goals are met.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation
    • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that the company remains competitive and innovative.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Management
    • Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and to address any issues or concerns they may have.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management
    • Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records to demonstrate compliance and to support business operations.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in construction or manufacturing, preferably with a focus on facade systems.
  • Certifications: Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and relevant industry certifications can be beneficial.

  • CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
