Job Description:

Thomsun Mercantile and Marine LLC, a leading logistics and marine services provider in the UAE, is seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods, ensuring seamless logistics coordination and timely delivery.
  2. Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies, including accurate stock control measures, to optimize warehouse efficiency and minimize losses.
  3. Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of productivity, efficiency, and teamwork, to achieve exceptional results.
  4. Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes, ensuring cost-effective and timely transportation of goods.
  5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to strict health and safety regulations and company policies.
  6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and warehouse metrics, providing actionable insights to drive business growth and improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  8. Manage warehouse budgets and control costs, making informed decisions to optimize resource allocation and minimize expenses.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in the logistics industry, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve exceptional results.
  4. Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  5. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification in warehouse management or logistics, with a focus on industry-recognized standards and best practices.
  2. Experience with ERP systems, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  3. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
