About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisitions Specialist to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our real estate asset management team, you will be responsible for handling acquisition activities, underwriting, investor relations, and management of acquired properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Real Estate Investment Acquisitions: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and negotiate deals to acquire properties that align with our company's strategic goals.
  • Prepare Investment Memoranda: Develop comprehensive investment memoranda that provide detailed analysis of potential investments, including financial projections, risk assessments, and market research.
  • Arrange Debt Finance for Fundraising: Collaborate with our finance team to secure debt financing for our investment activities, ensuring that we have the necessary capital to execute our business strategy.
  • Maintain Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with our investors, providing regular updates on our investment activities and ensuring that their interests are aligned with our company's goals.
  • Oversee Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner, including property deeds, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Develop and Execute Exit Strategies: Identify opportunities to exit our investments, whether through sale, refinancing, or other means, and develop and execute strategies to maximize returns for our investors.

Requirements

  • Experience in Real Estate-Related Domain: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on acquisitions, underwriting, and investor relations.
  • Prior Experience in Acquisition in the Real Estate Industry: A proven track record of successful acquisitions, including experience with due diligence, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Proven Experience Creating Underwriting and Investment Memoranda and Investor Relations: The ability to develop comprehensive investment memoranda and investor relations materials that meet the needs of our investors.
  • Background in Property Closings: Experience with property closings, including the ability to navigate complex transactions and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Prior Background in Asset Management is a Preferred: A background in asset management is highly desirable, as it will enable you to provide strategic guidance on our investment activities.
  • Bilingual Japanese and English is a Plus: The ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English is a significant advantage, as it will enable you to work closely with our investors and other stakeholders.
