We are seeking an experienced Global Freight Operations Manager to join our team at MEGA FAST CARGO LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of import/export shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the coordination of logistics services, including bookings, documentation, and execution of routing for assigned shipments.
  • Ensure the timely communication of information and instructions to/from vendors to maintain smooth operations.
  • Arrange all product freight services according to guidelines provided by management to ensure efficiency.
  • Verify that shipments are processed through Customs and ports without any delays.
  • Support department coworkers with problems, issues, and questions to provide prompt resolution.
  • Inform management of progress and requirements of the department to ensure alignment and achieve goals.
  • Review all documents and notify exceptions to customer service to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the export and import department to meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a clear, concise, and timely manner to build strong relationships.
  • Comply with all domestic and international shipping regulations strictly to avoid any non-compliance issues.
  • Report any transaction problems or irregularities to the department manager to address them promptly and minimize disruption.
  • Promote proactive customer satisfaction and business share growth through regular contact and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales on account implementation to ensure a seamless transition from Sales to Operations for assigned customers.
  • Manage all customer contact at file level regarding exceptions to provide exceptional support and service.
  • Support Sales in compiling quotes by providing rates, tariffs, etc., accurately to ensure competitiveness.
  • Deliver accurate job costing forecast to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management based on business exigencies to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
