About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Associate to join our team at CHALHOUB Group. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for driving demand planning and analysis initiatives to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement planning and forecasting techniques to drive demand and capacity planning, and interpret and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Forecast Accuracy and Analysis: Seek new approaches to generate greater forecast accuracy and improved analysis of sales forecasts inputs, and review sales inputs to ensure an appropriate Sales Forecast is developed and consistently renewed.
  • Demand Scenario Planning: Apply planning and modeling techniques to investigate and evaluate demand scenarios and the impact of relevant constraints to ensure an appropriate basis is selected for the Demand Plan.
  • Process Improvement: Seek opportunities to deploy improved tools and techniques to enable achievement of better plans and business decisions, and assist in the development of the Demand Plan to determine what is required in the demand, supply, and inventory plans to support business needs.
  • S&OP Process Management: Set up and run the S&OP process within the business, anticipate and mitigate specific factors relevant in the category, and devise action plans which include targeted pricing adjustments to achieve required outcomes.
  • Inventory Management and Fulfillment Support: Provide input on the optimum stock model to support agreed Demand and business plans, ensure that Supply Planning KPIs align with multiple stakeholders' objectives for inventory optimization, and identify gaps in current supply or Demand plans and propose remedial action.
  • Supply Planning Adherence: Monitor supply planning adherence to demand plan, identify constraints and options on available space, and alert the business to impending issues.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in demand planning with a multi-brand beauty business.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in demand forecasting for a beauty business.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Advanced Excel analytical skills.
