Responsibilities:

  • Setup and maintenance: Set up and maintain audio-visual equipment for events, ensuring it is functioning correctly and making any necessary repairs.
  • Technical support: Provide technical support to guests, addressing any issues that may arise during events.
  • Inventory management: Manage the inventory of equipment used for banquets, conducting regular stock checks to prevent losses or damage.
  • Logistical coordination: Coordinate the delivery and collection of equipment for events outside of catering, ensuring all requests are logged and processed efficiently.
  • Preventive maintenance: Carry out assignments on the Preventive Maintenance Programme to maintain the highest standards of equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other Engineering colleagues to provide assistance whenever needed, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education and training: Completion of a relevant trade or technical course, such as electronics or telecommunications.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, such as audio-visual equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
