The role holder is responsible for providing support in driving sales through the performance and development of the Store Sales team. The role is also responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional operational, commercial, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supports in delivering the store annual sales targets by analyzing sales data and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
  2. Assists in maintaining proper coverage and schedule to ensure the store maintains high levels of customer service, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Conducts store operations audits to ensure compliance with the required store standard operating policies, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  4. Oversees the store's after-sales processes, ensuring full adherence to repair/return policies and procedures through effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  5. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and customer service provided is of exceptional standard, identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
  6. Ensures that visual merchandising standards are achieved and that products are displayed in accordance with brand policy, resulting in an attractive and engaging store environment.
  7. Ensures promotions and pricing are accurate and in tune with company standards and policies, driving sales and revenue growth.
  8. Generates and analyzes sales reports, providing insights to maximize stock potential and report on the performance of new and core collections.
  9. Submits daily invoices and sales recap to Finance, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  10. Executes store operations, including cash handling, inventory taking, and record keeping, in line with the company's standard operating procedures.
  11. Maintains proper loss prevention standards, ensuring compliance with cash handling, fraud, and theft of products.
  12. Manages inventory, including in-bound movement of goods, receiving, stocking, restocking, transfers, and managing inventory discrepancies.
  13. Ensures the interior and exterior of the store are clean and maintained to company and brand standards, creating a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
  14. Directs the team to follow standard operating procedures and store appearance standards, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  15. Carries out the duties of a cashier (as required), providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate transactions.
People Management:
  1. Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team, ensuring effective implementation of GMG's performance management process.
  2. Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to achieve the defined goals, promoting a culture of growth and development.
  3. Drives a culture of feedback and coaching in the Business Unit/Department, providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs, and coaching employees on areas of improvement.
