About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our Integrated Facilities team, you will be responsible for providing support to clients and internal stakeholders related to the optimization of managed services operations and sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Intelligence and Strategic Initiatives: Deliver market, supplier, and operational intelligence of services operations, identifying and leading field resources to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance to JLL's and client's sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
  • Data Integrity and Documentation: Maintain data integrity in all systems and ensure required documentation is received and required process steps are completed.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Support the Category Management team's supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Help lead Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers.
  • Contractual Compliance: Establish a relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes and are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
  • Diversity Programs: Support and assist development of diversity programs in accordance with clients and company requirements.
Requirements
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be a subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.
  • Process Improvement: Help build out and implement standardized and efficient sourcing processes for the account to help streamline the current program.
  • Sourcing Plan and Strategy: Develop a sourcing plan and strategy for the account focused on cost savings, supplier consolidation, sustainability, and supplier diversity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Closely participate in and with clients and Jones Lang LaSalle Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the client(s).
  • Sourcing Function Management: Lead and manage all sourcing-related functions: performing due diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, executing RFPs/bids, and ensuring effective transition to operations during implementation.
  • Status Updates and Communication: Regularly provide detailed status updates and communication to Supply Chain and business stakeholders.
  • Operations Support: Provide management, instruction, and follow-up in support of operations teams' RFP/bid, contracting, supplier onboarding, and operational processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Procurement Systems Experience: Experience with procurement systems (i.e. Jaggaer or Ariba)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university
  • Strategic Sourcing Experience: 3-5 years of strategic sourcing experience for services or indirect categories (e.g. facility services)
  • Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, organization skills, and analytical ability
  • Customer Service: Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate professionally.
